An outstanding SEN school in Ellesmere Port is seeking a caring and passionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team and help create an inspiring learning environment.
If you enjoy working with children and young people with SEN - including communication difficulties, hearing and visual impairments, cognition needs and behavioural needs - Academics are wanting to hear from you!
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide one-to-one and group support to students with SEN Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where students can flourish academically and emotionally.
Assist students in overcoming barriers to learning and promoting positive behaviour.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to develop personalised learning strategies.
Implement effective interventions and support plans tailored to meet individual needs.
Encourage independence, self-esteem, and resilience in students through engaging activities.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers, helping to evaluate and adapt teaching approaches.
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will have: Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
A compassionate and patient nature, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
An understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
A flexible and adaptable approach to meet the diverse needs of students.
A relevant qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential.
