Electrical Section Lead/Manager Mansfield, Nottinghamshire £45,154 37 bookable annual leave days, private healthcare for employee, partner and child Shifts Monday to Friday, rotating weekly Week 1: 07:00 - 15:00 or 08:00 - 16:00 Week 2: 07:00 - 15:00 or 08:00 - 16:00 Week 3: 07:00 - 15:00 or 08:00 - 16:00 Week 4: 16:00 - 04:00 + 1 hour on Saturday and Sunday About the Role We are currently recruiting for a driven and forward-thinking Electrical Section Lead/Manager to join the team at our Mansfield site. This is a senior position with responsibility for leading and developing the electrical section, overseeing utilities, and ensuring the smooth running of all electrical systems on site. This role would suit a hands-on engineer who has the technical expertise to lead by example, but also the ambition to step into a management position and influence the wider business. The successful candidate will be integral in ensuring equipment and utilities operate at peak performance, while driving continuous improvement and creating a culture of safety, reliability, and innovation. Responsibilities Lead and manage the electrical section, setting clear objectives and supporting team development Deliver effective maintenance and improvement programmes across all electrical systems and utilities Ensure compliance with SHE standards, creating a safe and efficient working environment Oversee preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and maximise performance Fault-find and programme on Mitsubishi & Siemens PLCs Support utilities management including boilers, gas, air handling, heating and ventilation Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance performance and efficiency What We\'re Looking For HNC or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical or Mechatronics Utilities knowledge (boilers, gas, air handling, heating & ventilation) Experience with Mitsubishi & Siemens systems - programming and fault finding Strong understanding of multi-voltage AC/DC, inverters, panels, instrumentation and PCB boards Familiarity with CAD and electrical drawings Previous leadership or supervisory experience would be advantageous A proactive, ambitious individual looking to progress their career in a leadership capacity If you are an ambitious electrical engineer with leadership skills and a passion for continuous improvement, we would love to hear from you.
