Overview:
We're looking for an experienced Core Deployment & 5G Slice Integration Engineer to join a growing telecom technology team, supporting the deployment, integration, configuration and troubleshooting of multi-vendor mobile core networks, Private 5G Core platforms and enterprise connectivity solutions. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong experience across 4G EPC, 5G Core, network slicing, subscriber management and end-to-end core integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and integrate mobile core network solutions for Private 5G and enterprise networks.
- Install, configure and upgrade core network software components.
- Configure core network services and management platforms.
- Manage subscriber provisioning, SIM management, APN/DNN configuration and service profiles.
- Support 5G network slicing configuration and validation.
- Integrate core networks with RAN, IP Transport networks and enterprise applications.
- Execute end-to-end connectivity, ATP and acceptance testing.
- Perform alarm validation, fault troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Support software upgrades, licensing activities and backup/restore procedures.
- Produce deployment documentation and technical reports.
- Support technical workshops and solution discussions.
- Translate customer requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Provide technical input into solution design, deployment planning and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with customers, partners and internal technical teams.
What We're Looking For:
- Hands-on experience with: 4G EPC, 5G Core, Private 5G Core, Mobile Network Architecture and Network Slicing.
- Experience with major Core Network vendors: Ericsson, Nokia, Samsung, Huawei or equivalent platforms.
- Strong knowledge on: AMF, SMF, UPF, UDM, AUSF, PCF and Subscriber Management.
- Experience integrating Core with RAN and IP Transport networks.
- Good understanding of IP networking, VLANs, routing, VPNs and firewall connectivity.
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Confident working directly with customers, partners and technical teams.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
