Responsibilities in your new role as Sous Chef:
- Leading service and coordinating the kitchen team during busy periods
- Monitoring food quality, presentation, and service timings
- Supervising and supporting Chefs de Partie and junior kitchen staff
- Assisting with staff training, development, and shift planning
- Helping manage stock levels and placing food orders
- Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and health and safety are maintained
- Supporting the Head Chef with menu development and daily specials
- Testing and refining new dishes and recipes
- Maintaining exceptional food quality and consistency at all times
Your personality, experience and qualifications:
You are a passionate Sous Chef with experience in a similar role and a strong track record of progression and longevity within previous positions. You'll thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, bring creativity to every service, and enjoy supporting the development of those around you.
