Van Driver - Edinburgh
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Edinburgh .
This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and customer-focused drivers to join a busy catering distribution business.
You'll be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries to commercial customers across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas, ensuring orders are delivered safely, accurately and on time.
This role would be suitable for applicants with experience as a Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver or 3.5 Tonne Driver .
Rates of Pay:
£13.00 per hour
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday
07:00 - 15:00

Day-to-Day Duties:
Your duties as a Van Driver are:
Completing multi-drop deliveries to catering and hospitality customers
Loading and unloading your vehicle safely
Checking orders before delivery to ensure accuracy
Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point
Completing delivery paperwork and using handheld devices where required
Carrying out daily vehicle checks
Adhering to all road traffic laws and company procedures
Essential Skills:
To be successful as a Van Driver , you will need:
A full UK Category B driving licence
Previous multi-drop driving experience
Good geographical knowledge of Edinburgh and the surrounding areas
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Good time management and organisational skills
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
Physically fit, with the ability to load and unload deliveries
Training:
Full training and ongoing support will be provided
