We are working with a stable, global leading engineering organisation seeking an Electrical Testing and fixed wirer tester to carry out statutory inspections and electrical testing across a wide range of industrial and commercial environments (never domestic) in the Central Belt area β Edinburgh, Glasgow, Falkirk etc.

The Role β Electrical Testing and Certification Engineer
You will operate independently while being part of a national engineering team, carrying out high-quality inspection, examination, and electrical testing of installations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out inspection and electrical testing of installations in commercial and industrial environments
- Conduct EICRs
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical standards, 18th Edition regulations, and Health & Safety requirements
- Produce accurate technical inspection reports within agreed timescales
- Provide professional technical advice to clients
- Maintain high customer service standards
- Identify potential additional service opportunities
You will work across varied sectors including manufacturing, power & utilities, retail, logistics, transport, and public sector environments β giving you a technically diverse and interesting workload.
Salary & Package
Β£40,500 - Β£53,000 per annum dependent on experience (If starting on lower Basic guaranteed yearly increase to reach Β£53K by 24 months)

Essential Qualifications & Experience
- 18th Edition (BS7671) Regulations β essential
- City & Guilds 2391 or 2394/2395 β Inspection & Testing qualification essential
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Electrical Installation (Part 1, 2 & 3 or 2365 Diploma)
- COMPEX 01-04
- Experience in fixed wirer testing advantageous
- Time-served apprenticeship highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of electrical installations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Good IT skills and ability to produce technical reports
