Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain meaningful experience supporting children with additional needs? A welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Barnet is seeking a compassionate and proactive Psychology Graduate to join their dedicated inclusion team this September as a full-time Learning Support Assistant.
This Psychology Graduate role involves providing 1:1 support for pupils with autism, ADHD and other complex needs, helping them access learning, develop social skills and thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
About the Role:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with autism, ADHD and complex learning needs
- Adapt learning activities to suit individual needs and learning styles
- Work closely with the SENDCo, class teachers and external professionals
- Build positive relationships that promote confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing
- Help create a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment
What We're Looking For:
- A Russell Group Psychology Graduate (2:1 minimum)
- A Levels achieved at A*-A standard
- Patient, resilient and able to build strong relationships with children
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Someone eager to gain practical experience within a primary school setting
- Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
