Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small-group pastoral support
  • Support behaviour, attendance and student wellbeing
  • Build positive relationships with students
  • Work with Heads of Year and senior leaders
  • Liaise with parents, staff and external agencies
  • Help students overcome barriers to learning
  • Act as a consistent and approachable Pastoral Support Officer
Requirements
  • 2:1 or First-Class degree from a Russell Group or Top 20 UK university (preferred)
  • Strong A-Level and GCSE results (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organised, proactive and resilient
  • Confident building relationships with young people
  • Passionate about supporting students
