Langley has an exciting opportunity for a passionate, organised, and talented Cook to join our friendly and dedicated team in Bury .

This is a permanent part-time role , working 22 hours per week across a 7-day rota, offering a salary of £14,924 per annum .
As our Cook, you'll play a vital role in creating enjoyable dining experiences for residents, preparing high-quality meals that cater to a range of dietary needs while helping to create a warm and welcoming environment.

Maintain high hygiene standards, ensure proper waste disposal, and oversee food purchasing, storage, preparation, cooking, and serving.
Plan menus collaboratively, minimize waste, liaise with suppliers for best value, and conduct regular stock audits to ensure proper rotation and removal of expired items.
Develop and implement training plans for residents and trainees, supervise their activities, record progress, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and project rules.
Manage training activities with a businesslike approach, aim for self-financing, and enforce security measures to maintain acceptable risk levels during kitchen operations.
