We're recruiting for an Electrical Technician to support a major rolling stock upgrade programme based at a well-established rail engineering facility in Eastleigh.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project offering excellent rates, regular overtime, and the chance to work with a highly skilled engineering team.
- The Role As an Electrical Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering:
- Electrical modifications and upgrades
- Fault finding, testing and commissioning
- Preventative and corrective maintenance
- Electrical repairs and defect rectification
- Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and schematics
- Supporting continuous improvement and safety initiatives
What We're Looking For
- Electrical Apprenticeship
- NVQ Level 3 Engineering (or equivalent)
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience working in maintenance, overhaul, modification or production environments
- Ability to read electrical drawings and engineering documentation
- Strong commitment to safety and quality standards
