Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Miller to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating manual machines, performing CNC setting and programming, machine grinding, and part inspection. The role involves working on precision parts, assisting with system assembly, and supporting site visits when necessary. Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision engineered components
- Work with Mazak and/or Doosan machinery to produce parts to specification
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Carry out inspections and quality checks
- Make program adjustments and offsets where required
- Ensure components meet quality standards and customer specifications
- Minimise machine downtime and maximise productivity
- Complete production documentation accurately
- Maintain machinery and work areas to high housekeeping standards
Skills, Experience & Training Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a CNC Miller
- Experience reading engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling
- Experience carrying out quality inspections using measuring equipment
- Experience working with Mazak CNC machines
- Experience working with Doosan CNC machines
- Experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
- Relevant engineering or machining qualifications (desired)
