HGV Class 1 Driver – Livingston People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver – Livingston to join our well-established client based in Livingston .
This is a fantastic opportunity offering consistent weekday work, excellent rates of pay, and ongoing assignments within a busy transport operation.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV CE Driver, Category C+E Driver, General Haulage Driver, or Tramper Driver.

Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include
- Carrying out general haulage deliveries and collections
- Delivering to sites with forklift unloading facilities or loading bays
- Completing vehicle checks and transport paperwork
- Ensuring deliveries and collections are completed safely and efficiently
- Maintaining compliance with driver hours and tachograph regulations
- Providing a professional service to customers and delivery sites
- Following all company policies and transport procedures
- Essential Skills The essential skills required to be an HGV Class 1 Driver include:
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence
- Valid CPC qualification card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of driver regulations and tachograph legislation
- Reliable and punctual approach to work
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
