Type: Full-Time | Temporary / Contract About the Role We are recruiting for hardworking and reliable Labourers to join a leading renewable energy contractor working on large-scale utility Solar PV projects across the UK.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within the rapidly growing renewable energy sector while supporting the construction and installation of utility-scale solar farms.
Key Responsibilities Assist with the installation of utility-scale Solar PV systems.
Load, unload and distribute materials safely across site.
Support electricians, installers and site teams with day-to-day activities.
Prepare work areas and maintain a clean, organised and safe site.
Assist with cable installation, trenching and general groundworks where required.
Assemble mounting systems and support structures under supervision.
Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Follow all site health and safety procedures and company policies.
Report any hazards, defects or safety concerns to site management.
Carry out general labouring duties as instructed by the Site Manager.
Essential Requirements Previous experience working as a Labourer on construction or infrastructure projects.
Valid CSCS Card.
Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites.
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel.
Desirable Previous experience working on Solar PV, renewable energy or utility-scale construction projects.
Manual Handling Certificate.
First Aid at Work.
CPCS or NPORS plant tickets.
Telehandler or MEWP experience.
Experience working around electrical installations.
