This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Melting Manager to take full responsibility for melting operations, leading a skilled team while driving quality, efficiency and continuous improvement across the department.

The Role:
  • Lead and manage all melting department activities across cupola and electric furnace operations
  • Plan, organise and oversee furnace charging and melting activities to meet production requirements
  • Ensure all metal produced meets required grade specifications and quality standards
  • Authorise release of melts in line with Atas profiles and operating specifications
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste and optimise output quality
  • Monitor and control departmental costs including labour and overtime
The Person:
  • Experience within a foundry, melting or heavy manufacturing environments
  • Understanding of furnace operations, metal grades and process control
