Are you a mechanically minded Engineer with experience working on hydraulic systems? We're recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established engineering business supporting customers across the UK. This is a field-based role focused on the service, maintenance, installation and repair of specialist industrial equipment, with hydraulics forming a key part of the day-to-day work.

The Role
- Servicing, maintaining and repairing industrial machinery at customer sites
- Diagnosing and rectifying hydraulic and mechanical faults
- Installing and commissioning equipment
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance
- Replacing and repairing hydraulic components including pumps, valves, cylinders and pipework
- Producing service reports and supporting customers with technical advice
- Ensuring work is carried out safely and to a high standard
This is a mobile role covering customer sites, offering a varied working environment with no two days the same.
What We're Looking For

- Heavy engineering, industrial machinery, plant equipment or similar environments
Reading engineering drawings and technical documentation. Suitable backgrounds may include:
