Contek Recruitment are currently representing a well-established precision engineering company in the Dudley area who are looking to add experienced CNC Machinists to their team. Due to continued growth and increasing workloads, we are recruiting for:
- CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator (Heidenhain controls)
- CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator (Fanuc controls)
These are excellent opportunities to join a busy and stable machining environment producing large and complex components for a variety of industries. The company specialises in heavy machining, therefore candidates with experience working on large-capacity machinery and handling medium-to-large components will be highly desirable.
Experience working with machinery such as the below would be advantageous:
- Milling: Elgamill, Asquith, Correa
- Turning: Harrison, Hancook, Binns
The successful candidates will be confident programming, setting and operating CNC machinery independently. Offline programming support is available on-site for more complex components, although the ability to programme simpler jobs at the machine is expected.
Working Hours: Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:30pm. Flexible working window available between 6:00am 6:00pm. Optional overtime available including Saturday mornings (4 hours).
Requirements:
- Strong CNC programming, setting and operating experience
- Experience within a heavy machining environment
- Ability to work from engineering drawings
- Comfortable machining large and complex components
- Self-sufficient and quality focused approach
