Purpose: The Night Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing warehouse operations during the night shift, working closely with the Operations Manager and wider management team.
This will involve ensuring that customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately, safely and on schedule.
The role focuses on maintaining high standards of productivity, quality, food safety and health & safety while supporting an efficient and well-organised operation.
Schedule: 4 night weekly working pattern, based on a 3-week rotating shift pattern.

Responsibilities: Oversee the night warehouse operation, completing work safely and efficiently.
Ensure all customer orders are picked, checked, packed and prepared for dispatch to the required quality standards and delivery deadlines.
Coordinate the loading of delivery vehicles, ensuring loads are completed safely, accurately and in line with transport schedules.
Plan and allocate labour resources to meet operational demands and maximise productivity.
Monitor workflow throughout the shift and adjust priorities where necessary to maintain service levels.
Resolve day-to-day operational issues and escalate significant concerns to management where appropriate.

Skills & Experience Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
Previous experience within a warehouse or food distribution environment is advantageous.
Good understanding of warehouse operations and team supervision.
Awareness of employment procedures and basic HR practices.
Knowledge of HACCP principles and food safety requirements.
Willingness to undertake additional training, including First Aid, Fire Marshal or other compliance-related courses.
