Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to join a well-established manufacturing business where no two days are the same?
We're looking for an immediately available hands-on Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a busy manufacturing facility, ensuring machinery and equipment remain safe, reliable and operating efficiently.
The Role
As part of the maintenance team, you'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of production machinery and site equipment. This is a practical role with a mechanical focus, supporting the smooth running of manufacturing operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults on production machinery.
Servicing hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Completing maintenance records and ensuring work is carried out safely.
Undertaking basic electrical maintenance such as replacing switches, sensors and other simple components where required.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
Previous experience within a manufacturing, production or industrial maintenance environment.
Mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills.
A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
