PSM Recruitment are seeking an experience Shift Customs Clerk to work for a successful Customs Clearance firm in Dover.
Key Responsibilities:
Completing the day to day customs clearance work
Assisting the customs clerks with completion of customs paperwork as required
Assisting with other operational duties within the office at Managers discretion
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Willingness to learn customs procedures & principles
Good understanding of Excel spreadsheets
IT Literate
Must be able to meet deadlines
Be conscientious and have attention to details
Be able to be part of a team
Must be able to identify and report problems
Communicate politely and efficiently with clients and internal staff
At least 1 years experience in Customs Clearance
Key Performance standards:
Deadlines are met in a timely manner
Processing is timely and accurate
Obtain positive client feedback
Working Conditions:
Full Time Shift work to support 24/7 operation (4 on 4 off 2 days 2 nights rotation). Compulsory overtime maybe required
