Join the Agincare Dorchester Outreach team as a Support Worker and make a real difference in someone's life. You'll help people build confidence, gain independence, and enjoy life in their own home while staying connected to their local community. No two days are ever the same. One day you could be supporting someone at home, the next enjoying a visit to the local pub, or even accompanying them on a holiday. Every activity is tailored to the individual's interests, helping them live life to the fullest and achieve their personal goals.
The person you will be supporting is a gentleman who has a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome and Depressive Disorder. He is highly independent and values maintaining control over his daily life while having consistent support available when needed. The role is focused on promoting wellbeing, encouraging community engagement, providing emotional support, and helping him to maintain his independence.

Working Hours:
- Monday: 11:00am - 3:00pm
- Wednesday: 4:00pm - 8:00pm
- Friday: 5:00pm - 9:00pm
- Saturday: 4:00pm - 8:00pm
We're looking for:
- A calm, patient and caring approach with the willingness to learn and build trust
- Previous experience in a care or support role preferred
- A team player who values consistency
- A Full UK driving licence
- At least 12 months remaining on your right to work in the UK
- Excellent career development opportunities and fully funded training up to QCF Level 5
