The Role
- Be concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting goods in a safe, timely manner
- Transport goods securely to areas where they are needed
- Tug master qualification desirable
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to operate and control equipment licence
- Inspect the vehicles and perform basic support undertakings like refuelling, air pressures, oil levels, coolant etc
- Recognise electrical or mechanical faults in the vehicles and report to the relevant Supervisor
- Ensure the vehicles are kept clean and tidy both inside and out
- Precisely complete all paperwork connected with conveyance of the goods
- Guarantee that goods are protected and secured
- Report any instance of mishap or accident to the Manager
- Dress professionally and in accordance with company dress code ensuring you wear the correct PPE (boots, gloves, visor, face mask, hard hat)
Essential Skills, Abilities and Knowledge Required

- Valid C+E licence and DCPC qualification + Digital Tachograph
