We're home to DFS, Sofology, and The Sofa Delivery Company: three brands with their own personalities, brought together by a shared mission. Behind our brands is a passionate Group team. From Finance and Technology to People, Marketing and Supply Chain, our Group functions power everything we do. They create the foundations that allow our brands to thrive, innovate and grow. Whether you're supporting our brands or serving our customers, the mindset that connects us means we expect more of ourselves and each other. The effort feels worth it. It's a place where people stay because they feel valued, and find room to grow because they're challenged.

About the role

This is a great opportunity to develop your skills and build a career within the Quality team, with the potential to take on more responsibility and progress within the role and wider team. You'll also have the opportunity to work towards an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor qualification, gain valuable quality experience and, depending on business needs, have opportunities to travel and work with suppliers in different locations. As a Quality Co-ordinator, you'll play an important role in helping us maintain high standards across our suppliers, products and processes. You'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to support audits, quality projects, reporting and continuous improvement. Whether you're already working in a quality environment or looking to take the next step in your career, we're looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and the ambition to develop and progress within DFS.

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Coordinating supplier audits and making sure information and documentation is completed on time.
  • Keeping supplier records, certificates and audit information accurate and up to date.
  • Working with suppliers and internal teams to support quality and improvement activities.
  • Helping to coordinate projects, track progress and make sure actions are followed up.
  • Reviewing quality, customer complaint and NPS information to identify trends and areas where we can improve.
  • Producing regular reports and sharing key findings with the relevant teams.
  • Supporting supplier performance reporting and helping teams understand how suppliers are performing.
  • Building positive working relationships with suppliers and colleagues across the business.
  • Supporting ESG activities by keeping information updated and following up on outstanding actions.
  • Supporting New Product Development by coordinating information, actions and project updates.
  • Keeping quality, product and compliance information organised and easy to access.
  • Supporting meetings by taking notes, recording actions and following up on agreed tasks.
  • Working closely with Quality, ESG, Buying, Product and supplier teams to help deliver projects successfully.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Excellent knowledge of Google Drive and Microsoft Excel is essential. Experience with Power BI would be an advantage.
  • Experience in a quality, compliance, supply chain, technical or co-ordination role but we're also open to someone looking to take the next step in their career.
  • Experience working with suppliers, customers or external partners would be beneficial.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage several tasks and deadlines at once.
  • Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
  • Confidence working with information, reports and data, with the ability to spot trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with different people.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to take ownership and follow things through.
  • The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Experience with audits, compliance or quality standards would be advantageous but isn't essential.
  • An interest in developing a career within Quality, Compliance, Supply Chain or Product.

Don't let it discourage you if you don't have all of this experience, it's a guideline that will help you hit the ground running. If the role sounds like it would be a great fit for you and you're confident that it suits you, we'd love you to apply.
