Mobile Maintenance Fitter - Field-Based Role ideally located around Goole, Hull, Scunthorpe, Doncaster or Selby. Company Vehicle Provided.

Are you mechanically minded and enjoy working hands-on? We are looking for a Mobile Maintenance Fitter to join our Silo Maintenance team, supporting sites across the region. This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and fault-finding on silo and associated plant equipment, helping to keep our operations running safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will work as part of a mobile maintenance team and support customers and operations across the business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities on silo equipment and associated plant.
  • Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults using a structured approach.
  • Working with motors, pumps, gearboxes and other mechanical equipment.
  • Completing maintenance reports and documentation using mobile technology and digital systems.
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in line with company procedures.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintenance performance targets.
  • Building positive relationships with customers, site teams and colleagues.
  • Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with Health & Safety standards.

What we're looking for:

  • Mechanical fitting, maintenance or engineering experience.
  • Experience using hand and power tools safely.
  • Fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience working with motors, pumps and gearboxes.
  • Basic electrical knowledge or experience (desirable).
  • Understanding of plant isolation procedures (LOTOTO) (desirable).
  • Good IT skills and confidence using tablets, mobile devices and digital systems.
  • A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
