The Role
Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering a professional, proactive HR service to managers and employees across the organisation. You'll provide expert advice on a wide range of employee relations matters while supporting the continuous improvement of HR processes and services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, performance management and investigations.
- Ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with current employment legislation.
- Supporting managers with case management from start to finish.
- Delivering HR training and presentations where required.
- Building strong working relationships with managers and colleagues across the organisation.
- Contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of HR services.
A full induction programme will be provided, including online training and the opportunity to shadow experienced members of the HR team.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience working in an Advisory role.
- Employee relations experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making skills.
- A proactive, positive and empathetic approach.
- The confidence to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
