Facilities Manager (Temporary Contract)
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire Contract: Temporary (2 Months) Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am 4:30pm Rate: Up to £25 per hour (PAYE)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Manager to join a leading facilities management provider on a temporary two-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive facilities professional with a strong background in Hard FM, compliance, and contractor management.
The Role:
As Facilities Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery of facilities services, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and a high standard of customer service across a busy site.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day relationship with site teams and key stakeholders.
Ensure work orders are in place before maintenance activities commence.
Attend regular operational meetings and provide updates on site performance.
Coordinate additional works, including obtaining quotations and arranging approved subcontractor works.
Identify opportunities for service improvements and communicate these to the Contract Manager.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure service delivery meets agreed standards.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance documentation is audit-ready.
Ensure all QHSE procedures are followed, including PPE compliance and dynamic risk assessments.
Complete monthly compliance checks and ensure all statutory documentation is up to date.
About You:
We are looking for someone who has:
Previous experience in a Facilities Manager or similar FM leadership role.
A strong understanding of Hard Facilities Management and contractor management.
Good knowledge of health & safety and compliance requirements.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working within a customer-focused facilities management environment.
