Recently merging companies, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join them on their continued growth.
In this role you will be responsible for designing bespoke automation systems for manufacturing companies. You will use PLC and create 2D drawing sets of the project and submit them for quotation before supporting the operatives in the actual building of what you have designed. You will work closely with the Electrical design team in creating system architecture.
This role would suit an Electrical Design Engineer looking to join a company where no two days will be the same, offering a wide range of projects and real progression being the go-to Design Engineer.
The Role:- Designing bespoke automated machinery for manufacturers
- Using Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs and creating Electrical Designs on AutoCAD
- Keeping schematics drawings up to date throughout the projects
- Support control engineers and operatives in the build and diagnosis of machinery
- Monday - Friday (9am-5pm, flexitime) and potential hybrid working after probation
