A specialist technology business is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support advanced systems used by leading research organisations worldwide.
This hands-on Field Service Engineer position, is customer-facing role involves installing, servicing, troubleshooting, and supporting complex equipment both remotely and on-site. You'll work closely with customers to ensure systems are performing at their best, with international travel of up to 50%.
Key Responsibilities as Field Service Engineer:
Install, commission, and test equipment
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
Deliver customer training and technical support
Carry out maintenance and repairs
Manage support cases through to resolution
Work with engineering teams on technical escalations
Travel internationally to customer sites
Experience Required:
Experience in a Field Service, Service, or Support Engineering role
Experience with scientific, imaging, or precision equipment
Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
Comfortable working with Windows/Linux systems and test equipment
Excellent customer-facing communication skills
