My client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Electrical Biased Engineer for a temporary position in Oxford area lasting a minimum of 3 months.
The role involves ensuring that all maintenance tasks are executed efficiently, adhering to the technical, safety, health, environmental, and operational quality standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance tasks, ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
This role is paying up to a maximum of £21.63 per hour PAYE + holiday pay or £28 per hour Umbrella.
Key
Responsibilities: Conduct routine maintenance tasks and responsive repairs on electrical systems, lighting, and power within the facility.
Perform weekly fire alarm checks to ensure systems are fully operational.
Maintain detailed and accurate logbooks of all maintenance activities.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure maintenance tasks are completed effectively and in a timely manner.
Ensure all safety procedures are followed and report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
Support the maintenance of documentation and assist in compiling reports as required.
Skills: Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
Experience in maintenance of electrical systems, lighting, and power distribution.
Ability to carry out inspections and checks efficiently.
Proficient in maintaining logbooks and detailed reports.
Knowledge of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Certifications & Standards: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical. 18th Edition.
