Are you a Design Engineer with an automation background looking to become the go-to technical expert within a global leader, working on bespoke machinery projects while receiving specialist Vision Systems training and clear progression to Senior Engineer? This is a chance to join a company that designs, builds and integrates bespoke automated machinery and vision systems for some of the biggest conglomerates such as Jaguar and Pepsico. Recently merging companies, this is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to be their go-to with real progression to Senior levels.
In this role you will work on roughly 7 projects a year. This will start with laying out the system architecture for automated machinery following the designs from the Visions team before using AutoCAD electrical to draw and design your electrical schematics. You will be responsible for seeing the project all the way through from submitting quotations for designs to supporting operatives actually building your design.
This role would suit a Design Engineer looking to join a company where no two days will be the same offering a wide range of projects and real progression being the go-to Design Engineer.
The Role:
- Designing bespoke automated machinery for manufacturers
- Using Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs and creating Electrical Designs on AutoCAD Electrical
- Keeping schematics drawings up to date throughout the projects
- Support control engineers and operatives in the build and diagnosis of machinery
- Monday - Friday (9am-5pm, flexitime) and potential hybrid working after probation
