We are working with a lovely, two-form entry primary school in Devizes, Wiltshire who are looking for an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join them from September. This school is very popular in the community, boasting large, light and modernised classrooms. Excellent resources and technology and a supportive SLT. It is well organised, calm, and supportive. It is a smaller school with a real 'everyone knows everyone' feel, and it shows in both staff morale and the way the children learn.
The role itself:
- This is a full class teaching role in Year 3.
- Planning is already in place for term 1 & 2, so your focus is on delivering lessons well, keeping standards high, and building strong relationships with the class.
- You will still be involved in marking and adapting resources, but you won't be taking work home every night to plan from scratch.
They are looking for someone who:
- Has QTS
- Knows KS2 well (Year 3 experience is a bonus)
- Keeps a calm, consistent classroom with clear expectations
- Can bring lessons to life without overcomplicating things
