Our company, Cotswold Talent Solutions, are recruiting for multiple reliable and customer-focused Van Drivers to join a busy delivery team. In this role, you will be working as part of a two-person crew, delivering and assembling furniture for customers across the region. This is a genuine Temporary to Permanent position with a permanent role offered after a successful trial period!

You will be the face of the business, so great customer service skills and a professional attitude are essential. Previous experience in furniture delivery is advantageous. We have immediate starts available!

Due to the nature of the work, a Driving assessment and Manual Handling training are required before starting with the company - this will be arranged after the application process.

Pay Rates and shifts:

  • £13.23 per hour Paye
  • Shift times 12.00/14.00-22.00
  • Start times daily between 12.00 - 14.00
  • Monday to Friday shifts

The Role:

  • Deliver furniture safely and efficiently to customers' homes and business addresses
  • Work alongside a driver's mate, sharing lifting, carrying, and assembly tasks
  • Assemble furniture on-site following instructions and quality standards
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service at every delivery
  • Complete all delivery paperwork accurately
  • Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and road-safe
  • Follow all health & safety procedures, especially around manual handling

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
  • Previous experience in furniture delivery or home delivery is desirable but not essential
  • Must be comfortable with heavy lifting and physical work
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
