Enlightenment Education are looking for committed Nurture Teachers to work in Derby City SEND and SEMH provisions. These are long-term, full-time roles teaching small groups of pupils with additional needs. Consistency is key, so we are looking for teachers who can build strong relationships and provide stability.
The Role
- Teaching small groups across KS2/KS5
- Planning and delivering adapted lessons
- Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and complex needs
- Creating a calm, structured and nurturing learning environment
- Working closely with SENCOs, pastoral teams and behaviour leads
What We're Looking For
- QTS (Primary, Secondary or SEND considered)
- Experience in SEND, SEMH, AP or small-group teaching
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-led practice
- Ability to adapt lessons and support varied learning needs
- Reliable, consistent and committed to long-term work
