Great opportunity to work as an FLT Driver for our world-renowned logistics client in a busy distribution center, which is responsible for dispatching construction equipment. Staffline is recruiting for FLT Drivers in Kegworth, Derby.

The rates of pay are:

  • Hours worked between 6am - 6pm, £13.80 per hour
  • Hours worked between 6pm - 6am, £16.56 per hour

Overtime is available at this site and is paid at:

  • Between 6am - 6pm - £20.70 per hour
  • Between 6pm - 6am - £23.46 per hour

This is a full-time role working rotating shifts or fixed night shifts. The hours of work are:

  • Rotating Monday to Friday: Earlies 6am - 2pm and Lates 2pm - 10pm
  • Fixed nights: Monday to Friday 10pm to 6am

Preferably if applicants hold a Reach or Counterbalance Licence, however, it is not necessary as training can be given for the right candidate.

Your Time at Work

As an FLT Driver, your duties include:

  • The kitting roles require the colleague to pick and sort items using a pump truck and pallets before putting away using the Reach truck. Please be aware that you will be on your feet for long periods of time.

Key responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Moving stock around the warehouse (on and off of racking)
  • Working with a health & safety focus at all times
  • Other general warehouse roles

This role might require some occasional heavy lifting. Cross-training on other machinery is available in the role.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will show good attention to detail and be able to follow all Health and Safety rules. Applicants who hold a Reach/Counterbalance licence are preferred however, experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
