What this job involves:
As a Project Manager at JLL in Raynesway, Derby, you'll be at the forefront of shaping a brighter way for our client Rolls-Royce. In this role, you'll lead and oversee CDM 2015 Reg Notifiable & Non-notifiable projects, ensuring they're delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll collaborate with diverse teams locally and across our Raynesway site, embracing innovative ways of working to drive successful outcomes. Your expertise will be crucial in managing our clients' expectations, coordinating with stakeholders, and implementing best practices in project management.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets for site-based projects
- Lead cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation within JLL
- Manage client relationships, ensuring clear communication and alignment with UK market expectations
- Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing effective solutions tailored to UK regulations
- Monitor project progress and performance, making data-driven decisions
- Conduct regular status meetings and prepare reports for stakeholders
- Champion sustainable and technologically advanced solutions in project execution, aligning with UK sustainability goals
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in project management within the UK real estate, construction, M&E or Manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and project management methodologies in accordance with CDM 2015 Regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite
- PRINCE2 Practitioner certification or equivalent UK-recognized qualification
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in the UK context
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with sustainable building practices and BREEAM certification
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) technology as applied in UK projects
- Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies
- Experience in multi-site projects across different UK regions
- Additional certifications such as APM or RICS
- Understanding of UK property law and planning regulations
Desired but not essential:
- CDM 2015 Regs training certification
- SMSTS Site Manager or NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction Certification in Health & Safety
