We are a leading UK manufacturer of advanced food processing machinery, renowned for delivering innovative automation solutions to customers around the world. Following significant investment in our state-of-the-art laser cutting and fabrication facilities, we're looking for a skilled Press Brake Setter/Operator to join our expanding manufacturing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern, high-specification equipment, including an Amada 4-metre press brake, in a clean, organised, and well-equipped manufacturing environment. You'll play a key role in producing precision components that form part of our world-class machinery, with the opportunity to contribute to a business that values quality, continuous improvement, and craftsmanship.
Main Duties:
- Operate and set up press brake machines for folding sheet metal according to specifications.
- Selecting correct materials and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings.
- Conducting basic machine maintenance and upkeep.
- Working alongside a friendly and experienced team in a fast-paced environment.
We're Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter Operator, ideally with Amada machines.
- Confidence with machine setup, material handling, and part inspection.
- A keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work accurately and efficiently to meet production targets.
- A good understanding of workplace health & safety.
