The Role

You'll work directly on our customer's contract, on your fixed Day or Night shift pattern – whichever you're assigned. Our client is your point of contact for operational and trailer issues; any vehicle or other work-related issues are dealt with by us directly. Full training is given to familiarise you with the role and get you settled in. These roles are independent and suit drivers who like to think for themselves. ADR deliveries are part of this job, so a current ADR licence is a strong advantage – but it's not essential, as we'll provide training to the right candidates. Whichever shift you're on, the role typically involves trunking with trailer swaps, along with deliveries and collections to commercial premises. All loads must be safely strapped and secured in line with company and legal requirements. Any delays or issues should be communicated promptly to the customer to maintain service standards.

What You'll Need

  • A keen, efficient approach and sound safe working practices.
  • A valid HGV licence.
  • A valid digital tachograph.
  • Up-to-date CPC card.
  • ADR licence preferred, all classes except 1 & 7 (not required – training available).

We pride ourselves on being a family-run company and looking after our staff in a fair and conscientious manner. In return, we expect the same level of pride from our drivers when it comes to our vehicles, trailers and the responsibility they have to our customers and their associated work.

Multiple positions available – apply for our Day shift role or our Night shift role.
