This vacancy, the result of growth, will report into the payroll manager and will be office based for at least 3 days per week. The team is collaborative and supportive with the hiring manager being focused on developing the team around her.
The Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of clients and process their payroll requirements within agreed timeframes.
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll end-to-end production for various clients in accordance with statutory regulations within payroll deadlines and requirements.
- Service multiple clients as part of a team effort to deliver excellent service to our clients.
- Manage payroll deadlines and requirements of your own personal portfolio of payroll clients.
- Ensure you have up to date knowledge of statutory and legislative regulations by attending in-house training courses.
- Manage import/export of new employee and timesheet data onto the payroll platform, including: Starters, Leavers, Absences and work plans, Variations and adjustments, Salary changes, Changes to benefits and allowances and different contract types, Child Care Voucher schemes, Pension deductions.
- Process statutory payments.
- Generate payroll reports, P45s etc., using our in-house systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Distribute payslips to multiple platforms.
- Submit reports to HMRC via RTI.
- Manage client billing.
- Ensure procedures and key control documents are kept up to date for auditing purposes.
- Any other ad hoc duties as required.
The Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working within an accountancy practice/providing bureaux payroll services.
- Locally based or able to travel to our client who is based near Denny on a daily basis.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communicators in both written and verbal form.
- Applicants must be able to work unrestricted within the UK and be based in the immediate vicinity.
