An opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Operative who holds a nationally accredited FLT Counterbalance & FLT Reach Certificate and a full clean UK Driving licence to join my clients team in Daventry.
About the Job:
- Use counterbalance FLT and Reach Truck for loading/unloading vehicles/stores for automotive manufacturer
- Book in items received using a computer system
- Pick items from stores according to kitting list for fabricators, welders etc.
- Pack completed items into bespoke cartons following instructions sheets and prepare for despatch to customer
- General stores functions
- Cover van driving when required
- Help keep your workplace safe, clean and tidy
- Work with rest of the team, and provide holiday or other cover
- Adhere to health and safety and environmental requirements
- Any other reasonable requests should be carried out to the best of your ability
Person Specification:
- Good literacy and numeracy
- Must have accredited counterbalance FLT training certificate
- Must have accredited Reach FLT training certificate
- Must have a full driving license
- Good communication skills
- Must have experience in similar role, ideally in manufacturing
- Experience of MRP system
- Attention to detail is essential
- Must be a strong team player with a Can Do attitude
- Must be able to work diligently and with minimum of supervision
- May be required to work additional hours to meet workload
- Must be flexible in approach, willing to take on other tasks, and be responsive to changing demands and situations
