Are you looking for a permanent hands-on Production Operative role in Daventry with lots of overtime? Impact Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join an established manufacturing business based in Daventry. This is a great opportunity to join a growing production environment where full training will be provided.
The role is ideal for someone who is reliable, physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on production environment. Previous manufacturing or blending experience would be advantageous, but the right attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn are equally important.
Location: Daventry
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm / Friday 7:00am - 3:00pm
Pay: £13.57 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
The Role:
- Assist with the weighing, measuring and blending of raw materials according to production specifications.
- Operate manufacturing tanks and production equipment safely and efficiently.
- Accurately record production information and maintain detailed records.
- Label raw materials correctly and put them away in the appropriate locations.
- Carry and lift large sacks and drums of raw materials and chemical containers.
- Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail.
- Work towards production targets and deadlines.
- Follow all health, safety and quality procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has previous experience within manufacturing, production, blending or a similar environment.
- Has good written and verbal communication skills.
- Has good numeracy skills and is comfortable weighing, measuring and recording information.
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work.
- Is physically fit and comfortable with regular manual handling and lifting.
- Is reliable with good attendance and timekeeping.
- Can work independently as well as part of a team.
- Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Is flexible and able to commit to regular overtime, early starts and occasional Saturday mornings.
