Driver Hire Darlington is currently recruiting experienced 8 Wheel Tipper Drivers to work on a supply basis for our valued clients across Darlington and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for flexible work with a variety of respected local companies.
The Role As an 8 Wheel Tipper Driver , your duties will include:
Operating 8 wheel tipper vehicles safely and efficiently
Transporting aggregates, construction materials, and waste products
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects
Completing delivery paperwork accurately
Maintaining high standards of road safety and compliance
Working closely with site teams and customers
Adhering to Working Time Directive and driver hours regulations
Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have:
A valid Category C (Class 2) Licence
Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Previous 8 wheel tipper driving experience preferred
Good knowledge of driver hours and vehicle safety regulations
A professional and flexible approach to work
Strong communication and customer service skills
