Refrigeration Engineer Croydon / Clapham £47,676.66 OTE £55K - £60K (salary including on call standby 1:4) Permanent My client is on the lookout for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join the team.

You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve maintaining, servicing and repairing Refrigeration Equipment in customer locations and provide assistance to HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits.

Key Responsibilities – Refrigeration Engineer Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.

Identify non-repairable faults promptly advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacements.

To ensure PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.

Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date.

To order and fit parts or components as prescribed by company procedures.

To advise the GSMs of any repair, maintenance and installation issues that are likely to affect the smooth running of the store and to build rapport and promote the spirit of partnership with all GSM's.

To carry out surveys and complete reports as required by the refrigeration supervisor/ RFM.

Qualifications & Experience – Refrigeration Engineer NVQ / SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning F-Gas Category 1 (C&G 2079-1) Flexible to be part of the 24/7 on-call rota every 1:4 weeks.

Full driving license.
