My client is a leading supplier of engineering products, including software and hardware, and services used by engineering professionals worldwide to help them capture, analyse and present spatial information.

The Role

They are looking for experts in the use of Construction / Civil Site Surveying & Engineering Equipment interested in exploring exciting opportunities as Technical Support Engineers / Account Managers. Combining your knowledge and experiences to provide consultative advice and support on a range of software and hardware products, to contractors and engineers in the civil engineering, construction and consultancy sectors.

The Person

  • Expert knowledge of industry defined Construction / Civil Site Surveying & Engineering Equipment
  • Demonstrable experience understanding working as a Site Engineer / Land Surveyor / Setting Out Engineer for a construction or civil engineering company, general contractor or surveying / design practice.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office experience, specifically in Word and Excel.
  • A desire to take this technical knowledge into an exciting new career direction with the opportunity to earn fantastic on target bonuses.
  • To continually develop his/her own attitudes, knowledge and skills required to carry out his/her role
  • Entrepreneurial drive and strong work ethic
  • Excellent account management skills including the ability to identify and manage wider opportunities with key customers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels and functions
  • Strong sense of urgency, responsibility and accountability
