Blue Arrow is recruiting Production Associates. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a worldwide manufacturer, in a state-of-the-art facility based in Llantrisant.

Salary: 30k per annum + Shift Allowance

Hours: 12 hours shifts, days and nights

Contract: Permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacture agarose resin products in line with ISO9001 and pharmaceutical quality standards, ensuring right-first-time batch production.
  • Follow approved risk assessments, work instructions, SOPs and batch records, with no deviation from defined process steps.
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as required by the Management of the company.
  • Operate and monitor automated and semi-automated processes and equipment, responding to process conditions to maintain product quality.
  • Work strictly within site Health & Safety standards, including safe handling of hazardous chemicals and full adherence to PPE requirements.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and in-process testing in a controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Identify and escalate process, safety or quality issues immediately to prevent impact on product or operations.
  • Support shift team performance through clear communication and structured handovers.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a production environment ideally pharmaceuticals or food industry.
  • Able to manually handle raw materials, products and equipment up to 25 kg.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer competency.
  • Access to own transport.
  • No immigration sponsorship available for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with lab equipment (full training provided).
  • Experience working with hazardous chemicals (full training provided).
  • Practical understanding of chemistry.
  • Production experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, laboratory or food environment is desirable.
