About the Role
As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall success of your store. You'll:
- Lead, coach and inspire your team to deliver outstanding customer service every day.
- Create a positive, supportive working environment where colleagues can develop and thrive.
- Drive sales, profitability and operational excellence.
- Recruit, develop and retain talented colleagues.
- Manage stock, labour, waste and store costs effectively.
- Maintain excellent standards of merchandising, food safety and compliance.
- Build strong relationships within your local community and promote Society membership.
- Ensure your store is safe, welcoming and always operating to the highest standards.
This is a varied, hands-on leadership role where you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact every day.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys leading people, solving problems and delivering results. You'll ideally have:
- Experience managing or supervising within a retail environment, ideally food retail.
- A proven ability to motivate and develop colleagues.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing costs and performance.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A hands-on approach with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, Outlook and Teams.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable.
