Our client is hiring for a Night Shift Inspector to support product quality through precise inspection, testing, and process control-helping ensure products meet the required standards and production stays on track.
What you'll be doing:
- Programme and operate CMM equipment, generating reports to confirm product conformance
- Operate specialist test and measuring equipment to support quality outcomes
- Carry out Process Control Audits across key areas including Supplies, Manufacturing, Assembly and Despatch
- Undertake First Article Inspection in line with the Quality Procedure (QP) requirements
- Record and process non-conformances using the appropriate Systems, helping eliminate/minimise undetected errors
- Maintain calibration and quality standards by following required processes and completing associated checks
- Support production requirements with product assurance paperwork and documentation accuracy
- Maintain component traceability throughout manufacturing and report documentation errors to supervision
- Use the business system to record stock entry and make stock adjustments, and raise concessions/production permits where needed
- Attend and contribute to Daily Team meetings and support continual improvement and progression of processes within the cell
What you'll bring:
- A strong quality mindset-accountable for accuracy, correctness and the standard of your work
- Confidence working to quality procedures and being meticulous with records and paperwork
- The ability to follow HS&E procedures and maintain a clean, well-organised workspace (including 6-S standards)
- Team working skills, with the ability to contribute to daily objectives and work collaboratively
- Comfort interfacing with people external to the Company when required
- Willingness to undergo training if required, and support others by sharing knowledge when needed
- The flexibility to work shift patterns to meet ongoing business requirements
Additional information: You'll also be expected to comply with regulations for the control of technical data (as applicable) and undertake special duties as assigned.
