The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Fabricator / Welder / Pipe Fitter to join their established team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering competitive pay, overtime opportunities and the chance to develop your career within a growing and supportive company. The successful candidate will have proven experience in fabrication and pipe fitting, with strong TIG and/or MIG welding skills and the ability to work confidently from engineering drawings.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am - 2:30pm
- Flexibility is required for occasional extended hours and overnight stays.
- Overnight allowance: £25 per night
- On-call rota: Approximately once every 8 weeks, with an additional £100 payment
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and install a variety of pipework systems.
- Carry out high-quality TIG and/or MIG welding.
- Complete off-site installation and fitting work using a company vehicle.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication specifications.
- Ensure all work is completed to the required quality and health & safety standards.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Be flexible regarding additional hours and occasional overnight travel.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Fabricator, Pipe Fitter or Welder.
- Essential experience in TIG and/or MIG welding.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible approach to working hours and overnight travel.
- Full UK driving licence - essential for operating the company vehicle.
