Nurse Plus is looking for compassionate and confident Registered Nurses to provide specialist renal care to people in their own homes across Cornwall.

This is an opportunity to deliver high-quality, one-to-one care without the constant pressure of a busy ward environment.

You will have the time to build trusted relationships, understand each person's individual needs and support them to live safely and independently at home.

  • The role Depending on the individual care package, your responsibilities may include:
  • Delivering safe and person-centred renal care within the client's home
  • Monitoring the client's condition and responding appropriately to any changes
  • Supporting dialysis-related care in line with the agreed clinical care plan
  • Administering medication and maintaining accurate clinical records
  • Working closely with families, healthcare professionals and the wider Nurse Plus clinical team
  • Providing reassurance, independence and continuity for the person receiving care
  • About you

You will need to be

  • A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration
  • Confident working independently in a community setting
  • Calm, dependable and clinically assured
  • Committed to delivering safe, respectful and person-centred care
  • Able to travel within the Cornwall area

Previous renal or dialysis experience would be highly valuable.

However, we are also keen to speak with experienced nurses who are interested in learning more about this area of community nursing.
