The Role
As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you'll advise clients across a varied caseload of commercial property matters, managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
Handling a broad range of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, renewals and development work.
Advising commercial clients on property-related matters and providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice.
Managing your own caseload effectively, ensuring matters progress efficiently and to a high standard.
Drafting and negotiating leases, licences, agreements and other property documentation.
Working closely with clients, agents, lenders and other professional advisers to progress transactions.
Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships.
Identifying opportunities to support business development and contribute to the growth of the department.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm.
About You
We're looking for a qualified Commercial Property Solicitor with solid experience handling a varied commercial property caseload.
You'll ideally have:
Experience in commercial property law, gained within a reputable private practice or similar environment.
Strong technical knowledge across areas such as acquisitions, disposals, landlord and tenant work and commercial leases.
The ability to manage your own matters with minimal supervision.
Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills.
A commercially focused approach and the confidence to provide practical advice to clients.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive and collaborative approach to working within a team.
A genuine interest in developing your career and contributing to the continued success of the department.
