We are seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to join our team. In this role you will provide expert HR advice and support to managers across the organisation, helping them deliver business objectives through effective people management. You'll coach and influence leaders, manage complex employee relations matters, and promote fair, consistent HR practices. Working collaboratively across the HR team, you'll also contribute to initiatives that strengthen our culture, embed our values, and support the delivery of our organisational strategy.
About the role:
- Act as the dedicated HR Business Partner for designated curriculum and business support areas, providing proactive, high-quality HR advice and support to managers.
- Partner with managers to identify workforce challenges, develop workforce plans, and deliver effective people solutions that support business objectives.
- Provide expert guidance on all aspects of employee relations, including performance, conduct, grievance, disciplinary, sickness absence, and policy application.
- Analyse workforce data and trends to identify improvement opportunities, recommending and implementing actions to enhance performance and meet organisational KPIs.
- Support the development, review, and implementation of HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice, while coaching managers on their application.
- Design and deliver HR training, management toolkits, and support organisational change programmes, including consultation, restructuring, redundancy, and redeployment processes.
- Work collaboratively with HR colleagues to drive continuous improvement, enhance HR systems and processes, and contribute to departmental projects and strategic initiatives.
Essential Experience:
- Significant experience of HR Business Partner / Senior HR Adviser procedures in a complex organisation working with managers to create positive business outcomes.
- Demonstrable experience of advising on complex employee relations, change management and performance management processes including leading on staffing reorganisations, grievance and disciplinary processes.
- Proven track record of providing credible, expert advice and services to managers.
- Up to date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice.
- Experience of using HR data to inform decision making and provision of advice to managers.
Essential Qualifications:
- CIPD Level 3 (and/or qualified by experience).
