About the role:
- Full-time KS1 Supply Teacher position from September until Christmas
- Delivering engaging and creative lessons across Key Stage 1
- Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress in line with school expectations
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively while maintaining high standards
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Working collaboratively with support staff, colleagues, and parents
- Planning and marking may be required depending on the school's needs
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Strong classroom management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
- The ability to inspire and engage young learners
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND would be advantageous
